There’s something truly magical about summer weddings in Wales — and Clare and Martin’s day at Sylen Lakes in Llanelli was no exception. With blue skies, the lush greenery of the lakes, and the most stunning golden hour light, it was the kind of wedding photographers dream about.

Clare and Martin chose Sylen Lakes for its peaceful surroundings, scenic water views, and romantic atmosphere. From the moment guests arrived, the vibe was relaxed, joyful, and filled with love.
The day started with laughter and happy chaos as Clare got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids. Hair was styled to perfection by Steil by Huw and Craig, bringing modern elegance to the bridal look. Complementing that was flawless makeup by the talented Nicola Anderson, ensuring Clare looked radiant all day long.
Beautiful Blooms and Personal Touches
The floral arrangements were crafted by Wedding Flowers Wales, who truly outdid themselves. Soft, summery blooms in shades of white, blush, and greenery added the perfect touch of romance — from the bouquets to the ceremony arch and table arrangements.

Golden Hour Magic
As the day turned into evening, we were gifted with the most incredible golden hour. The sunlight dipped perfectly across the lakes, casting a warm, golden glow over everything. It was one of those moments where the light does all the work — natural, soft, and cinematic. We snuck away for some portraits by the water, and those shots became some of my absolute favourites of the day.
Feasting and Celebrating
Guests were treated to a mouthwatering feast by The Welsh Hog Roast Company, serving up succulent roast with all the trimmings — proper comfort food done right. And the cake? A showstopper by Callum’s Cakes and Bakes — not only beautiful but utterly delicious.
The evening was filled with dancing, laughter, and unforgettable moments as the sun set over Sylen Lakes.
