Wedding videographer in Cotswolds now, seeing as I filmed at the stunning Kingscote Barn in Tetbury. So what are my first impressions of this Cotswolds wedding venue?
As I drive up the long drive leading up to the venue, it felt exclusive, I would instant feel I was about to arrive at a luxury barn venue. As I pull up to the car park, I could see how modern and clean Kingscote Barn is! The day before’s wedding guests were packing up ready to leave – as I had arrived a lot earlier than planned, just in case, you know! So I took the opportunity to fly the drone around the venue and grounds, and wow.. the morning light just complimented the nearby fields and hills, there was so much land at this venue! Well kept gardens, and a path leading down to a lake, perfect for photos – and video!
The ceremony room and reception area was nice and close to each other, with a balcony overlooking the ceremony room, which would later turn into the wedding breakfast room, followed by the dance floor. Nice big windows to light up the couple (I’ve seen a few venues where couples are on the wrong end of a room, away from all the natural light!).
At night, the gardens are lit up with fairylights, not just one part of the gardens either, there was a variety of places to film the bride and groom when the sun sets.
The staff were fab too, all very friendly, knew what they were doing, and very helpful too. Mollie at all the time to show me around the venue, as it was my first time shooting here.
