Carolyn and Stephen’s Wedding

Nashpoint Lighthouse, South Wales

There’s so many advantages of being a professional photographer, not just for the photographer, but also for the clients.  As I’ve mentioned in the past, I’ve helped out other photographers who were unable to photograph someone’s wedding for very good reason.  For this absolutely glorious wedding, I happened to have slept awkwardly, and my back kept on going into spasm… arghh!!  I couldn’t even pick up an empty plate to clear my dishes, let alone a full frame camera and lens! Craig Y Nos Castle, Brecon, South Wales

Joanne and Simon’s Wedding

A huge congratulations to Joanne and Simon on their beautiful winter wedding at the Craig Y Nos Castle in Brecon, South Wales.  With the recent weather warnings of snow, leading up to the big day, parts of the country were snowed in!  For me, it was having that horrible feeling of whether I could make it to the wedding or not.  Luckily, on the morning, the snow had died down, and the rain had melted a lot of the snow, so I was able to travel up!  If that wasn’t the case, I would have hiked up if I had to!

It’s not all about the Bride and Groom

2017 Best Images

This year, I decided to create my best of 2017 images on everything else but the bride and groom!  Why? Because I always hear from couples that they want natural photos, photos of their guests where they are unaware of their photograph being taken,, and if they did, then they’d want to see their personality in them!

So here’s a collection of photos of everyone else at the wedding except the bride and groom! Enjoy!

Jodie and Gareth’s Wedding

Fairyhill & Llanelli Town Hall | Part 1 of 2!

As a wedding photographer in South Wales, I have to travel around to document weddings, but today, I was at my home town Llanelli, just minutes away photographing our beautiful bride-to-be Jodie at Bella Compelli in West End. It was just Jodie and her son Jack, so it a nice calm morning.  Read More

Professional Wedding Photographer

So this was the most unexpected wedding I’ve photographed! A fellow photographer who was unable to photograph the wedding due to unforeseen circumstances asked if I was able to photograph a wedding that day.  It was a good thing I was up at 8.30am that morning, totally not like me when I didn’t have to work! My second wedding of the year!  I’ve photographed weddings at Oxwich Bay Hotel a few times down the Gower.  They always say no two weddings are the same, and this was definitely different for me, why?  Because I had the opportunity to photograph their portraits in the new Secret Garden! Read More
