Craig Y Nos Wedding Photographer

Brecon, Swansea, South Wales Wedding Photographer

If you’re getting married in Brecon, and looking for a Castle to be married in, I can certainly recommend Craig Y Nos Castle, since starting my photography business in 2012, where I photographed one of my first weddings, and also one of my first same sex weddings, I’ve had the pleasure to document many weddings here since then.

The theater is absolutely gorgeous for a ceremony, as well as portraits and group shots when you want to stay indoors.  The conservatory lets so much natural light in, it’s perfect for your wedding breakfast and photographing speeches.  Not to mention the heated floor which keeps us all warm!

The grounds are beautiful too, with so many places to get that perfect wedding photograph that will hang on your wall.  The country park is just next door if you fancy a walk for some more photos too!  Make sure you pop down to the venue to take a quick look, I’m sure you’ll love it!

Testing the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

with Hayley and Adam at Craig Y Nos Castle

I had a meeting with Hayley and Adam at Craig Y Nos Castle, they’re due to get married later on this year.  But seeing as it was a sunny day, and I was also on my 365 challenge (take a photo a day for the rest of the year – but with a mobile phone), I thought I’d get some portraits of these guys whilst I was here at Craig Y Nos Castle with them. Craig Y Nos Castle, Brecon, South Wales

Joanne and Simon’s Wedding

A huge congratulations to Joanne and Simon on their beautiful winter wedding at the Craig Y Nos Castle in Brecon, South Wales.  With the recent weather warnings of snow, leading up to the big day, parts of the country were snowed in!  For me, it was having that horrible feeling of whether I could make it to the wedding or not.  Luckily, on the morning, the snow had died down, and the rain had melted a lot of the snow, so I was able to travel up!  If that wasn’t the case, I would have hiked up if I had to!

Misty Morning

I do love going to Brecon for a wedding! Luckily for me, the bridal preparations were also in Brecon. I always enjoy the drive up, but it was pretty foggy, so I couldn’t enjoy the view.  Arriving at the Bride’s house, I was welcomed with an amazing view of Brecon and it’s hills, so it would have been rude not to take a photo!  See below!
