Getting Ready: Mali Was Such a Star
The day started off with Mali, and honestly, she made my job so easy. She was beaming—such a genuinely happy person! The morning prep was really relaxed and fun. No stress, just good vibes getting ready for the ceremony at the castle.
The Ceremony: Proper Family Moments
The ceremony itself was full of warmth. One of my favourite bits was how they just let their little lad run about while they were saying their vows. It wasn’t too formal; it was just real life happening. Those spontaneous, joyful moments made for some fantastic, proper memories that we definitely captured on camera.
The Photoshoot: Golden Leaves at Craig-y-Nos Park
After the ‘I do’s’, we popped over to Craig-y-Nos Park for the portraits. This is where the autumn leaves were at their best—bright, beautiful, and absolutely glowing with colour.
Crucially, Mali was a legend. I was a bit worried about the damp leaves and grass, but she just shrugged it off, saying she didn’t care about her dress getting wet or dirty. That amazing, laid-back attitude meant we could get right into the thick of the colours. Because she was so relaxed, it gave us the chance to get some truly amazing photos for her and John—romantic, vibrant, and perfectly capturing that golden autumn glow.
