I love Christmas weddings, a lot of photographers don’t like winter weddings, or find them difficult to photograph, as it gets dark quickly. I bring my portable studio lights to the wedding for situations like these, it helps to create dramatic portraits for the bride and groom!

A huge congratulations to Joanne and Simon on their beautiful winter wedding at the Craig Y Nos Castle in Brecon, South Wales. With the recent weather warnings of snow, leading up to the big day, parts of the country were snowed in! For me, it was having that horrible feeling of whether I could make it to the wedding or not. Luckily, on the morning, the snow had died down, and the rain had melted a lot of the snow, so I was able to travel up! If that wasn’t the case, I would have hiked up if I had to!
